Globally recognised venue finder and events agency, Zibrant, recently supported one of its chosen charities, The Muscle Help Foundation, when employees volunteered to help treat disabled youngsters to a spin in some of the world’s fastest supercars.

The car-mad group of nine young adults, between the ages of 11 and 23, were taken on a high-speed day of action when they visited the Stowe Circuit in Silverstone for the charity’s annual Porsche Muscle Dreams programme.

Four Zibrant employees, chosen by Managing Director, Fay Sharpe, each partnered with a young person to provide help and support throughout the day. The event included time spent on track with professional racing instructors in Porsche Carrera INC GT4s, Cabriolets and Cavennes and a celebratory dinner at nearby Whittlebury Hall, Northamptonshire.

Chris Holt, Credit Controller, Zibrant, who was selected as a volunteer for the day commented: “It was an amazing day and really moving to be part of. As we stood by the trackside and saw the youngsters in the cars, it made you realise what an incredible moment this was for them.”

The Muscle Help Foundation supports young people suffering from muscular dystrophy, a disease that weakens the musculoskeletal system and significantly reduces life expectancy, and aims to provide opportunities for youngsters to sample once-in-a-lifetime events and realise their ‘muscle dreams’.

Zibrant has supported the Foundation at a number of previous events, including a day spent hosting eleven families with children suffering from muscular dystrophy at last summer’s Paralympic Games. The award-winning events agency’s other chosen charities include Send a Cow, from which the agency’s ‘Zibrant Goatz’ campaign was inspired.

Fay Sharpe, Managing Director, Zibrant, said: “Zibrant fully supports The Muscle Help Foundation. As chair of trustees, myself and the team at Zibrant love to be involved and support the charity’s amazing work. We look forward to supporting them on an on-going basis.”
