Well Met Conferencing continues to AIM high with Gold renewal
Well Met Conferencing, the award-winning meetings and events service at Leeds Metropolitan University has successfully retained its AIM Gold accreditation, three years after first receiving the accolade.
AIM Gold is the highest level of accreditation that can be achieved and is only awarded to venues or suppliers who have met, or exceeded, a strict set of criteria including quality of facilities, customer service and compliance with codes of conduct.
The award followed a reassessment of the venue, a compulsory procedure undertaken by AIM every three years to ensure that accredited venues are continuing to operate at the high standard set by AIM. The renewal makes Well Met Conferencing one of only 37 UK venues to hold AIM Gold status, having previously been the first university venue to ever achieve AIM Gold.
With a selection of unique and inspiring venues throughout Leeds, Well Met Conferencing offers a distinguished portfolio of urban and parkland conference sites, providing the perfect destination for meetings, exhibitions, product launches and corporate away days.
Kate Davis, head of business development at Leeds Metropolitan University says, “We are delighted to have renewed our AIM Gold status as it shows our customers that we are committed to offering a first-class service without ever letting our standards slip. AIM is such an important accreditation within the industry, acting as an official assurance of our commitment to excellence and a real testament to the hard work of everyone in our dedicated team.”
Jenny Sheehan, communications manager for AIM said, “AIM Gold is a truly fantastic achievement for any venue, so for Well Met Conferencing to have maintained such a high level of service over the past three years is truly commendable and highlights the importance of AIM in raising and maintaining standards within the industry. I offer a well-deserved congratulations to everyone involved in the operation of such an exceptional venue.”
