Companies can now inspire and reward their employees with a climb to the roof of London landmark The O2 at the most atmospheric times of day. Two new time slots have been made available by Up at the O2 for exclusive-use teambuilding packages.

The Sunrise and Sunset sessions give corporate leaders the opportunity to bring a different perspective to an already inspiring and motivational teambuilding activity. Participants ascend to the very top of The O2 via a walkway suspended 52 metres above ground to reach the viewing platform, which offers 360-degree views of the capital.

Now Up at the O2 is enhancing the experience by offering the new morning and evening slots for exclusive packages. When they reach the summit, teams will have the roof to themselves and will be rewarded with the opportunity to either watch the sun come up over some of London’s most iconic buildings, or to slowly sink behind the skyline.

All exclusive sessions include a dedicated climb guide, personalised video greeting and a team video. Extras such as breakfast, or drinks and dinner – either on the roof or in one of The O2’s restaurant or event spaces – can also be added.

In March Up at the O2 launched three packages combining the climb with The O2’s other attractions: Rock the Roof offers a visit to the British Music Experience, Grand Expedition ends with a party at event space indigo2 while Action Adventure includes a private film screening.  Bespoke themes for teambuilding can also be arranged.

Prices start from £500 for an exclusive Up at the O2 session for 15 climbers. Timings for sunrise and sunset climb packages will depend on the time of year. Sunrise and sunset occur at 4.44am and 9.22pm in late June, and at 8.05am and 15.55pm in late December.
