Tobacco Dock sees an increase in American business
Tobacco Dock has seen major growth in inbound business from the United States and has helped to assert the venue as a leading global event destination.
The space has seen a 50% increase in American business in the first six months of 2017 and amongst its US based clients are Tableau, Cisco, FinDEVr, Facebook and Google.
Tobacco Dock is one of the capital’s hotspots for events, conferences and business networking and was recognised in a prominent Silicon Valley publication for its significant role in establishing this area of East London as a destination for event delegates and travellers from around the world.
As a leading London venue and business hub, Tobacco Dock draws inspiration from its old utilitarian name and provides a dynamic and unique space for companies holding large or smaller corporate events in London.
Jonathan Read, Commercial Director at Tobacco Dock, comments: “The Tobacco Dock team has thoroughly enjoyed the journey to becoming one of London’s leading conference and events venues and the fact that much of this growth has come from overseas business is fantastic. It’s great to hear that delegates from all over the world are enjoying the Tobacco Dock brand, venue and history and we look forward to building deeper relationships with our American clients”.
