The National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham, revs up for Christmas 2013
This December, the National Motorcycle Museum is pulling out all the stops with Winter Wonderland themed parties, taking place every Friday and Saturday in the run up to Christmas.
The Museum will be transforming the Bracebridge Suite into a Winter Wonderland, with snowy white décor including twinkling star cloth, an LED fireplace and a 8ft decorated pine trees. The large suite, which has a capacity of up to 200 people, will become a Christmas Grotto throughout December. Last year’s local host and entertainer, Mark Tolliss is back by popular demand and will once again have guests singing, laughing and dancing the night away. His varied performance includes ‘a bit of everything for everyone’ and he will finish off with a DJ set to have everyone rocking around the Christmas tree. Guests can also visit the museum exhibits during the evening, making this a unique party venue.
Parties will be offered the choice of a festive carvery or a buffet of traditional Christmas dishes, from £24.95 per person. In-house chefs will serve a freshly prepared menu, with rich roast options including ‘rib of beef’, ‘turkey breast’ and ‘honey glazed gammon’, and delicious desserts such as ‘homemade Christmas pudding’, and ‘rich Baileys and dark chocolate Cheesecake’.
Conveniently located only a five minute taxi ride from Birmingham International Railway Station, the Museum is also just off the motorway, and for those who have a designated driver there is plenty of parking. Otherwise, there are two hotels nearby, The Best Western Plus Windmill Village Hotel & the Best Western Plus Manor Hotel Coventry, offering rooms from £45pp.
Nick Hartland, director at the National Motorcycle Museum, said: “A Christmas party is a great way to reward hard-working staff at the end of the year, and we pride ourselves on offering great value-for-money packages. We provide exciting entertainment, delicious food and a genuine festive atmosphere at a unique venue.”
