The Science Museum appoints Jodie Guilford as sales manager
The Science Museum has strengthened its events team with the promotion of Jodie Guilford to the position of sales manager.
Jodie joined the Science Museum in 2012, after holding sales and event management roles at both English Heritage and Mirage Events. In her role as event sales executive, Jodie managed sales enquiries for venue hire, conducted FAM trips of the Science Museum’s many event spaces and exhibited at industry trade shows.
Jodie’s promotion to sales manager will see her lead and develop the museum’s sales team, generate income from corporate and private events and build internal and external relationships, whilst increasing the museum’s profile and profitability.
Alicia Earls, communications manager for corporate events at the Science Museum, says: “We are delighted to announce that Jodie will be our new sales manager. Jodie is an extremely dedicated member of the team and passionate about driving great results. We have a very exciting year ahead of us at the Science Museum and look forward to the enthusiasm and experience that she will be bringing to the role.”
Jodie Guilford adds, “I’m really excited to be overseeing the sales activity for the Science Museum. We are always developing new and innovative opportunities to grow the business and I’m keen to take on the challenge.”
