Robinson College launches dynamic programme for clic+ 2015
In response to popular industry demand, Robinson College, Cambridge, has launched clic+ 2015, marking the sophomore year for the event.
Taking place at Robinson College on Thursday 1st October 2015, clic+ 2015 will build on the success of last year’s event, offering a bigger, more ambitious programme while maintaining its driving aim of drilling down into issues that affect those who organise meetings and conferences.
The event will run a full day of ‘nuts and bolts’ workshops, talks and networking and has attracted a prestigious group of speakers across a range of engaging topics. Highlights include:
- Morning keynote: ‘How to help your organisation achieve ROI for you and your investment’, from Victoria Darragh, a multi-award winning PA and current Executive Assistant to Group CEO and Group Finance Director at Hays PLC.
- Afternoon keynote: ‘Customer service and how it relates to organising and hosting events’, from Linda Moir, the renowned HR and customer service consultant, who helmed the team that delivered a famously outstanding service by 15,000 volunteer Games Makers to 9 million spectators at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
- Masterclass Workshops: running throughout the day, dynamic workshops will address topical subjects that affect event organisers, includes sessions from: The Media House, Live Group, Inspired Live, Green Moon Events and Speakers’ Corner.
Commenting on clic+ 2015, Nick Milne, conference and catering manager at Robinson College said: “It goes without say that we are excited to be launching clic+ for a second year. It gives us the opportunity to build on our growing reputation as a thought leader within the meetings and events industry. This year, we have carefully selected speakers who will tackle a range of pertinent issues, such as ROI/ROO, customer service, sustainability in conferencing practices, and defining engaging content for events.”
“clic+ gives Robinson College the opportunity to showcase our award-winning service and facilities, especially the Crausaz Wordsworth Building, set to be completed this September. We look forward to welcoming event organisers, EAs and agents to come and see what we have to offer.”
clic+ will also be preceded by a special charity gala dinner on Wednesday 30th September 2015. More information on the evening will be announced in the coming fortnight.
For those travelling from further afield, Robinson College is pleased to provide accommodation at a discounted rate the night prior to clic+ for early bookers.
