A number of projects, set to benefit both leisure and corporate guests, are under way across four of Center Parcs’ sites – Woburn Forest, Elveden Forest, Sherwood Forest and Longleat Forest.

At Center Parcs’ newest Village Woburn Forest in Bedfordshire, a £11.4 million project to build an additional 57 Lodges, 15 Woodland Lodges and 42 Executive Lodges  is underway and due for completion in Autumn 2017.

This follows 48 brand new Breckland Apartments which were opened in November at Elveden Forest in Suffolk. The self-catering apartments are located in the north east area of the Village and feature a double or twin bed, compact self-catering kitchen, living area, en-suite shower room and balcony so that guests can sit outside and enjoy the tranquillity of the forest.

For companies booking a teambuilding event, The Drop is the newest addition to the heart-racing group of activities at Action Challenge at Elveden Forest and hosts four exhilarating elements. Delegates will climb to the top of the tower and take on the Double Drop Zip Wire, Air Bag Jump, Leap of Faith and Quick Jump at heights of up to 10m.

Work is well underway on developing Aqua Sana’s World of Spa concept to Forest Spa at Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire, for delegates and guests looking for a more sedate activity. Due to be completed in early 2017, this one-of-a-kind spa will feature a new collection of spa experiences inspired by nature, a range of relaxation areas and a treetop sauna.

Finally, the fiesta has arrived at Longleat Forest in Wiltshire with the opening of Las Iguanas. Open for lunch and dinner, Las Iguanas will be serving up fresh, authentic Latin American food and drinks seven days a week.

Ellie Jones, National Account Manager at Center Parcs, says: “Here at Center Parcs we are continually investing in our accommodation and facilities for corporate and leisure guests. It is important for us to be able to continue our roll out of new lodges to meet demand, and we are dedicated to providing our guests with new and improved facilities for teambuilding, as well as introducing additional dining options.

“We are looking forward to the completion of these projects this year to further enhance the experience for our corporate and leisure guests.”
