National Railway Museum to host Visit York Tourism Awards 2016
The National Railway Museum in York will welcome back the Visit York Tourism Awards for the second consecutive year on 26 May 2016.
Taking place in the atmospheric Station Hall, the evening will see 500 guests dine among Royal trains including Queen Adelaide’s and Queen Victoria’s luxurious personal saloon before the winners and finalists are announced.
Celebrating the best in the industry, the ceremony will honour individuals and companies who offer that extra special service and experience to York’s seven million visitors.
Categories include Conference Venue of the Year, Outstanding Customer Service, Visitor Experience of the Year and Hotel of the Year.
Michelle Rennoldson, Sales and Events Manager at the National Railway Museum, said: “We are delighted to be hosting the Visit York Tourism Awards for the second consecutive year. The ceremony will again take place in Station Hall, an immersive space displaying real stories of travel nostalgia and the working-life of our stations over the years.
