Companies continue to see return when investing in hospitality

Keith Prowse, a leader in hospitality, released its latest business report underlining the resilience of the corporate hospitality market during a launch event on Friday 16th November 2012.

The report, titled ‘Why Face-to-Face Interaction Means Business’, revealed the fundamental reasons why companies continue to attach great value to a hospitality investment at blue riband events, from The Championships, Wimbledon and Henley Royal Regatta, to international cricket and rugby at Twickenham.

After canvassing the opinions of company directors, managers, partners and other senior officials, the report compares the use of face-to-face versus electronic methods for developing business relationships.

The corporate feedback details how electronic methods present no substitute for face-to-face interaction. In fact, respondents felt that face time with guests and colleagues builds stronger relationships, allows them to easily gauge situations through body language and inspires creativity. 90% of respondents also agreed that it produces an environment that is conducive to decision making.

The report goes further by identifying that 75% of respondents prefer to use corporate hospitality as opposed to a traditional board room meeting as a means to build business relationships.

Andrew Hodgkins, managing director of Keith Prowse, said: “As we represent some of the most prolific dates in the sporting and social calendar, our research is often viewed as a litmus test for the industry. It’s imperative that we continue to identify market trends and it is encouraging to see the value that companies are placing on corporate hospitality.”

The breakfast launch took place at the Kia Oval on Friday 16th November 2012 between 8.30am and 11am.
