Sea Containers Events, housed in the iconic South Bank located Sea Containers building, has announced the launch of two new summer packages, Cool Summer and Hot Summer, and is now taking enquiries for summer bookings.

The two summer packages, by award winning independent caterers Green & Fortune, both include canapés and a cocktail on arrival, made on a bespoke basis to match the tone of the event. This is followed by a selection of seasonal specialities cooked on live and interactive cooking stations. The Hot Summer package has the additional feature of a pop-up gin bar, designed to keep guests cool in the heat this summer.

Savoury canapés include peppered fillet of beef with soy mayonnaise and salmon and avocado sushi with wasabi. Live cooking stations include Memphis hot puled pork, garlic and chilli prawns, jerk-spiced shoulder of goat and roast native lobster with wild garlic, chilli and coriander. Dessert canapés include espresso chocolate truffle with caramelised cocoa nibs and summer fruit and cream cheese macaroons.

The venue offers a range of spaces perfect for hosting a summer party including the Roof Terrace behind the iconic Sea Containers letters and exclusive Cucumber or Sunset, both complete with private terraces and floor to ceiling windows with views of the London skyline.

Situated on the 12th and 13th floors, at the pinnacle of the building, Sea Containers Events offers six spaces across 25,000 square feet, capable of hosting numbers from 10 to 150 for dinner, cocktail receptions for 250 and exclusive hire available on application for larger events up to 600.

Spaces include a design-led amphitheatre for up to 200 participants, a private dining room with balcony overlooking St. Paul’s Cathedral and a roof terrace for up to 150 guests. The 12th floor includes a large blank canvas space, featuring show-stopping views and a private balcony overlooking the Thames, which can also be divided into four smaller spaces to boast greater flexibility.

Food and drink sees an emphasis placed on seasonality and provenance with sourcing from independent suppliers while menus draw on global food trends; from flavour fusions and food stalls to more formal seated dinner menus. A spirited yet attentive service culture has been adopted and reinforces Green & Fortune’s fresh approach to business entertaining.
