FutureFest 2016 inspires and enlightens at Tobacco Dock
From Saturday 17th – Sunday 18th September, Tobacco Dock, a landmark conference and event space located in East London, hosted FutureFest 2016.
The forward-thinking event was a weekend festival of talks, experiences and debates designed to inspire attendees to change the future across a number of different business and social sectors.
An engaging programme of seminars brought together an esoteric mix of speakers, including renowned commentator Will Self, restaurant impresario Oliver Peyton and rock music legend Brian Eno to discuss new ideas, approaches and ways of thinking.
Topics were far-reaching and thought provoking, looking at all aspects of society from the future of eating out to the evolution of the political process.
The occasion was complemented by a special VIP reception on day one, which featured an exclusive set by DJ Spooky.
Since launching in 2012, Tobacco Dock has established a reputation for events which foster the generation of ideas and innovative practices.
The venue is fast establishing itself and the wider Wapping & Shadwell area as London’s quarter for live experiences and extravaganzas, a community dedicated to the ideas generation.
