Fairmont St Andrews celebrated a victorious evening at the 2017 Fife Business Awards on Friday night (31 March), after being awarded for Excellence in Food and Drink at the ceremony at Rothes Halls in front of more than 300 guests. Fairmont St Andrews claimed the accolade at the annual celebration of diverse and innovative businesses in the Fife region.

The Excellence in Food and Drink award recognises outstanding contribution and commitment in promoting local food and drink to the long term benefit of the business and local area.

John Keating, general manager at Fairmont St Andrews collected the award and commented on the team’s success: “We are proud of our St Andrews and Fife heritage, and with the abundance of fresh seafood and meat available on our doorstep we are very fortunate to work with some of the finest local food and drink producers in the country.

We celebrate and showcase our locality by serving over 75% of food from locally sourced producers. This award is a brilliant recognition for the hard work, creativity and passion of our chefs and catering teams, across all our restaurants and bars within the resort.”
