Camm and Hooper has appointed Darren Hart as its new Director of Sales. He will take a leading role in driving forward the company’s creation and delivery of innovative, quality event spaces and experiences.

Darren has built a strong reputation within the hospitality industry for his work as Director of Sales at the luxury hotel, spa and golf resort The Grove in Hertfordshire, and Corporate Sales Manager at leading London venue The Brewery. Speaking about his new post, Darren said: “I’m delighted to join the team at Camm and Hooper. I admire the fresh approach the company takes to the events industry and look forward to helping shape its exciting future.”

Claire Lawson, managing director of Camm and Hooper, said: “We are delighted to welcome Darren. He is just the person to help us expand our unique concept of high-quality service for the lively events market in some of the capital’s most recognisable buildings.”

Darren’s appointment comes as Camm and Hooper develops its latest project, The Banking Hall, a new event space with capacity for 300 people, which is on schedule to open above Bank underground station in April 2014. The company is also busy scouting out another 10,000 square foot location for its next project, which is still under wraps. Camm and Hooper’s inaugural venture, Tanner & Co, a food and event space for up to 250 guests at 50 Bermondsey Street, London, opened in May.

Launched in August 2012, Camm and Hooper is the latest bar/restaurant company financed by The Imbiba Partnership, which has current investments including London-based bar group Drake & Morgan and Darwin and Wallace.
