We’ve targeted key decision makers and influencers in the events industry with compelling stories that have been created to drive enquiry levels.
Our narrowcast approach has encouraged business from the luxury goods sector. It has attracted experiential consumer-facing events looking for a large footfall and desiring a commanding backdrop, such as the 55-fountain centrepiece at Somerset House.
Case studies on events held at the venue such as Jewellery Week, Hugo Boss annual party, London Fashion Week 2013, Discovery Channel and The Campaign for Wool, secured two pages in key MICE publications.
To attract smaller meetings business, we orchestrated the launch of several corporate hospitality offerings, including Somerset House’s summer open-air cinema.
Event enquiries for meetings and events in 2012/13 increased by 32% and Somerset House is recognised by Event Magazine as one of the UK’s Top 20 Venues.
